At Wellesley, we encourage our students not only to dream big but to reach their goals—and we provide them with the opportunities and support they need to do so.
This year on our annual Day of Giving, we will celebrate the unique Wellesley experience that opens the doors for todayโs students to become tomorrowโs leaders.
On November 21, please make your gift to The Wellesley Fund so that we can reach our goal of 1,000 donors and ensure all Wellesley students can achieve their ambitions, inspire others, and change the world ๐๐.
Trisha Rahman โ25 and Priya Rajaram โ25, Balance Health Educators in the Office of Student Wellness (OSW), educate the Wellesley community about wellbeing and balanced living through sleep, stress resiliency, exercise, and nutrition. Throughout the academic year they run programs such as a popular aromatherapy event and help peers answer their health and wellness questions in a comfortable, approachable way.
โI hope [our programming] helps students realize that having a healthy work-life balance is possible at Wellesley without sacrificing grades, internships, sports, or other activities. Seeing examples of taking study breaks, learning how to create a manageable sleep schedule, and understanding how to get balanced meals from Wellesley Fresh are all ways to help our fellow sibs!โ โTrisha Rahman โ25
Weโve hit our goal—1,000 donors to The Wellesley Fund in just one day! Our Wellesley community truly knows how to crush it. Letโs keep it going! You still have time to make a difference on this Day of Giving. Your gift to The Wellesley Fund today will ensure all Wellesley students can achieve their ambitions, inspire others, and change the world.
18 days ago by Gina GentileFour years ago when Caitlin Windross โ25 arrived on campus, she joined Ethos and quickly discovered a supportive community where she could truly be herself. โI found a place where I could connect with others who shared my values and experiences,โ she says. Through her involvement in Ethos, Caitlin found a core group of friends who supported her through the challenges of college life.
Now, as a senior, she recognizes how deeply those connections have shaped her Wellesley experience. Inspired by her own journey, Caitlin ran for Siblinghood Chair of Ethos to create that same sense of belonging for others. โMy goal was simple: to offer first-years and returning students a space where they could connect authentically, forge meaningful bonds, and feel empowered to embrace their truest selves,โ she says. Through her role, she helped build a welcoming environment that enables students to form lasting relationships and find their place.
Abby Frankel โ25 is reflecting on the vital role residential life has played in shaping her Wellesley experience. As a first-year, she was grateful for the welcoming presence of older students in her residence hall, who introduced her to unique Wellesley traditions, some of which had been modified due to the pandemic. Now, Abby is dedicated to being a friendly face and a resource for her younger sibs.
โThrough residential life programs like HoCo, Flower Sunday, and RA floor events, Iโve made lasting friendships,โ she says, โand I hope to offer first-years the same support I received!โ
The Wellesley Fund plays a crucial role in supporting these programs, ensuring that traditions, leadership training, and student engagement opportunities continue to enrich the residential experience for all Wellesley students.
Wellesleyโs Day of Giving is just two days away! This Thursday, make a gift to The Wellesley Fund to support a key aspect of the College that youโre passionate about. You will have a direct impact on todayโs Wellesley students and help open doors for the next generation of leaders.
